here's some real perspective:
deadrat6 was a piss-poor attempt at a 'joke', the music isn't close to deadmau5's, it is so crude/vulgar that a 12-year old could do better. IMO it was done out of spite as a personal attack on Joel and not deadmau5's music.
since I know some people involved on the event, here's how it very much went down:
deadmau5 to d5 mgmt-> 'Marcus Shotcow is that guy taking the piss'
d5 mgmt to promoter -> we're cancelling gig because of the billing
promoter to d5 mgmt -> we'll cancel the other act then
Shotcow was informed many days in advance to the gig but he decided to make publicity out of it / play the victim.
Sorry to see so many of you bite on it.
