Ja auch mich hat das Teil neugierig gemacht.
soll ab mitte Mai lieferbar sein zu einem relativ normalen Preis.
Habs schon live in den Händen gehabt ein Bekannter DJ hats am Ultraschall mitgehabt aus Amerika mitgebracht.
Selber probiert echt klasse. Nur ein keines Manko durch die Digitale Platte können nur Tracks bis 8 min wiedergegeben werden der rest wird gecuttet wenns länger ist.
Hat noch wer erfahrung damit.

it sounds best with MP3s that are above 160 kbps or so, but I'll leave it up

I have thousands of records that I could never dream of carrying to gigs but
now I guess I can take as many as I like. The likes of
Richie Hawtin and DJ Craze have been using Final Scratch religiously while

Ganz nett, also die Idee ist leiwand und naja wenn man es mal anfaßt, will man es gar niemma loslassen! :D

Sehr praktisch, schick und Plattensuche geht innerhalb Sekunden ;) Optisch gibt es auch einiges her.

Habs heute ausprobiert und mich gleich damit angefreundet ! Is ur easy .. und wenn man Mixen kann ist es ein Traum *hehe* ... Die Idee ist keine so blöde ... aba es gibt einpaar schwachstellen ... aber die Vorteile an diesem System überwiegen bei weitem !

Vorteile gibts viele wie ... man braucht keine vinyls mehr rumschleppen ... man kann mehr auswahl an Musik mitnehmen ... man ist Flexibler von der Musik her ..

Nachteile sehe ich nur am Computer/Laptop ... weil wenn dir der PC abschmiert gibts mal 2 mins sendepause ...

Also alle mal Probieren .. es wird euch gefallen ! hehe [img]smile.gif[/img]

Naja gegen den PC Absturz stellen wir halt einen CD-Player bereit, mit CD schon drinnen, einfach PLAY und dann kann man mal "Neustarten" die Turntables. :D

so schnell drückst ma nie auf play am cd player *g* bekommt jeder davon wos mit *g*

Ja des schon, aber innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden findest schon den Play schalter, außer du bist grad am WC *lol* oder Stock besoffen *gg* aber dann kannst auch keine Lieder für den Final Scratch eingeben ;)

deswegen läuft das ganze ja unter Linux ... oder täusch ich mich???
Außerdem kann man damit ja auch normale Vinyls abspielen... oder täusch ich mich???

das final scratch arbeitet mit linux, windows 2000, nt, xp, 1998 usw.
das ist die neuheit, wärst da gewessen, hättest alle neuheiten!

Do you see a time when Final Scratch might become a necessary part of your
tour rider for playing in clubs or is this going too far?

Absolutely , just as I would have Techniques 1200's on my ryder, I will have
the Final Scratch Scratch Amp on it as well. Of course this will be when it
becomes available to the market later this summer.Right now I tour with the
complete system which easily fits into my travel bag .
Final Scratch allows me to bring 500% more music than I could if I was
physically carrying vinyl records. CD's can be bulky too sometimes.
Final Scratch has virtually replaced my use of CD's players all together. I
still play the majority of the records I buy because I haven't had time to
put those into Final Scratch yet but I am working on that now too.
Final Scratch allows me to use regular vinyl records anytime I want so I
still travel with a bag of 70 - 100 records! [img]smile.gif[/img] However, I have a few
hundred tracks in Final Scratch .!!!


Finally, have you been involved by Stanton on a regular consultative basis
as the system software has evolved?

Yes, I have actually been invovled with Stanton for a few years . I always
have tested out their needles and given them feedback. They approached me
about Final Scratch last fall because of my fluent ability with a wide range
of software. I was very skeptical at first , however when I used it the
first time I was BLOWN AWAY. I forgot I was even using it and mad at myself
because I only had 10 songs in it!
The software hasn't changed too much since the fall and has been incredibly
stable for me. The new Linux version is very exciting because it features
some unique changes to add too your perfomance. That will be the first
public version that comes out this summer.
Stanton has a unique track record of success from there days as the US
Vestax distributor to bringing Pickering back from the dead so I knew that
they had something unbelievable with Final Scratch. It is very cool to see a
company with a non-coorperate vision of the future and one that actually
listens to their market.
I think Final Scratch will be to the DJ industry what ADAT was to MI years
ago or even bigger.

und von wem stammt das ?

Ich weiß mittlerweile wie das Ding funktioniert, aber eines is mir noch unklar:

Das Notebook is nur mittels USB Schnittstelle mit dem Scratch Amplifier verbunden - oder???
Und um einen Track abzuspielen muß ich das Lied vorher in den Amplifier übertragen.

Dauert das nicht ziemlich lang über die USB Schnittstelle?
Wieviel Minuten kann der Scratch amplifier speichern?
Wieviel Minuten haben die Timecodeplatten (limit für Mp3 Länge)?

Also das ganze arbeitet sehr schnell das kannst du mir glauben. ;)

Die Maximale Mp3 Länge liegt derzeit bei 8 Minuten wenn ich mich nicht täusche!

nö aber frag flo oder tpk über das teil, die wissen derzeit mehr als ich über das teil.

Ich war am Wochenende mit der Anlage in Linz, und da hat ein gewisser Herr Josh Wink aufgelegt, der das Final Scratch auch mit dabei hatte.

Über Sinn oder unsinn von final scratch haben wir sicher ne halbe stunde gequatscht, sein resümee war in etwa so:

"They say this is the End of music, but this was everything before also. Cds, Tapes were also scheduled to be the end of music. For me as an artist this is great because i have to by my staff I play and do not have this heavy case with me"

Kam, baute sein Final Scratch auf, spielte und verschwand mit einem etwas größeren Rucksack wieder...

Wenn schon so grosse Acts auf dem Trip sind, wirds wohl bald nimmer aufzuhalten sein...

DAs Final Scratch ist eine saugeile Idee, vorallem für die Booking-Djs die von einem Ort zum anderen ziehen, aber auch für alle anderen.
Wie du gesagt hast - Aufbaun & Abbaun - nicht abschleppen.
Finds toll, das sich mal was neues in der Technik in Sachen Vinyl getan hat .... wenn ich mir anschau wie sich die CD Player/Mp3 Player von Pioneer entwickelt haben. :eek: Die haben doch versucht die Dj´s für CD-Player zu gewinnen. Ich denk mir, mit dem Final Scratch wird man das verhindern können. Man kann die Entwicklung nicht stoppen und bevor man jeden Abend Plattenkoffer schleppt, baut man doch besser des FS auf und that´s it!
Die Zukunft geht ja dahin das man sich das Leben einfacher macht und das FS schafft das meiner Meinung nach perfekt!

hi leute!

das passt zwar nicht hier zum thema, aber es geht auch um stanton.
von dieser firma soll es ein mischpult geben das die differenz der beiden eingangssignale anzeigen kann (bpm differenz beim mischen)
wisst ihr darüber was? bzw. wie das gerät genau heisst und wieviel es kostet?

Würd mich brennend interessieren...

hmm dazu sag ich nur: digital audio sucks ... ich seh den sinn nicht, weil die vinyls muss ich mir ja trotzdem kaufen & dann auch noch rippen ... da trag ichs lieber herum, ausserdem würde ich NIEMALS mit einem pc auflegen ... wurde auch schon gesagt warum ... absturz gefährdet etc. des kann nix ... also: VINYL und sonst nix.

Die Wahrscheinlichkeit das LINX abstürzt ist so hoch wie ein Stromausfall!
Hast schon mit einem Final Scratch gearbeitet??? Ich noch nicht, aber ich mach mir erst ein Urteil, wenn ichs beim Gue vielleicht mal testen kann.
außerdem hast ja da genauso deine Vinyls in der Hand, es sind halt immer dieselben - wo soll da der krasse Unterschied sein?

Das wär schon interessant, denn ich denke nicht daß du mit einem Final Scratch (dem Produkt) irgendjemanden entäuscht hättest - oder????

hmm dazu brauch ichs gar nicht erst testen ... digital bleibt digital -&gt; und computer haben am arbeitsplatz eines djs nichts verloren, finde ich.
