Kitz-Opfer Albrecht nach Sturz erstmals auf Ski
 

Der im Kitzbühel-Abfahrtstraining am 22. Jänner schwer verunglückte Daniel Albrecht soll am vergangenen Dienstag auf dem Kaunertaler Gletscher erstmals wieder auf Ski gestanden sein. Das berichtete die Schweizer Tageszeitung "Blick" (Sonntag-Ausgabe).

"Ich konnte bei Danis ersten Skiversuchen zwar nicht dabei sein, aber die Trainer haben mir erzählt, wie gut er schon wieder Ski gefahren ist. Das ist ein Highlight, die schönste Nachricht der gesamten Woche", zitierte die Zeitung Swiss-Ski-Präsident Urs Lehmann.

Trainingslager auf Mallorca
Bereits am Sonntag sei der 25-jährige Schweizer zu einem zweiwöchigen Trainingslager nach Mallorca abgereist. Nach seinem Sturz am 22. Jänner hatte Albrecht knapp einen Monat im Tiefschlaf in der Uniklinik Innsbruck verbracht, ehe er am 15. Februar nach Bern überstellt worden war.

Dort machte er in der Abteilung für kognitive und restorative Neurologie bei der Genesung seines Schädel-Hirn-Traumas so gute Fortschritte, dass ihn die Ärzte nach 98 Tagen Spitalsaufenthalt entlassen konnten.

Nach einem Unfall so schnell wieder auf die Ski - da hätt ich viel zu viel Schiss!:ich_wars_nicht:

Ich glaub, ich würde mich nach einem solchen Sturz nicht wieder auf Ski wagen...

Head holt Aksel Lund Svindal

It’s tough to find another active alpine ski racer with a more impressive track record than Aksel Lund Svindal: 13 World Cup wins, two Overall World Cup titles (2007 and 2009) and four small Crystal Globes in Super G, Giant Slalom and Super Combined. He is a three times World Champion and at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games he won the Olympic Gold Medal in Super G as well as a Silver Medal in Downhill and a Bronze Medal in Giant Slalom.

The transfer to HEAD is a huge step for Svindal: “I’ve used most of my time and energy these last three weeks gathering as much info as I possibly could before making my decision. My ski company is my most important partner, and I wanted to be sure I made the right choice no matter what direction I went. I’m now sure that I have.”. “The testing I’ve done with HEAD has been very exciting. The equipment is phenomenal and the team spirit is great – I am really excited!
