die führen zurzeit sehr überlegen beim EURODANCEWEB 2008.

2001/2002 kamen ganz andere "größen" vor. (david guetta, atb, milk inc., barthezz, dario g., dj ötzi :D etc.)

ich bin aus prinzip dagegen blind zu pushen, nur weil damit geworben wird... mehr ansehen erlangt österreich dadurch eh nicht... wenn dann vote ich aus trotz was anderes. :D

The German dance act Alex C feat. Yass wins the eight edition of the Eurodanceweb Award with the song "Doktorspiele"! The project was created in 2007 by the producer Alex Christensen, who in the past co-worked with big names of the international dance scene such as Right Said Fred, ATC, Rollergirl and many others. The winning song is taken from the debut album "Euphorie" released at the beginning of the year almost all over Europe, which features 14 tracks in German, English and Spanish.

Just 7 points behind the winner, Moldova placed second with Crazy Loop, alter-ego of Dan Balan, one of the members of the boyband O-Zone who became very popular all over the World in 2004 with the song "Dragostea Din Tei".

As it happened in 2006, Austria achieved the third place thanks to the duo Fabrizio & Marco and their greatest hit "Fly Away". The entry was released for the first time in 2007 with an italo-dance sound and was then remixed in different styles including hands-up and electro.

After winning the second edition of the Eurodanceweb project, Slovenia is back in the top 5 with Kristina's "Ona Se Ljubi Sama" remixed by the Croatian band Karma, while Italy placed fifth with "Anche Solo Per Un Attimo" by Bloom06, a dance project formed in 2006 by Maury Lobina and Gianfranco Randone, former members of the popular act Eiffel 65.

More than 120 disc jockeys, journalists and music producers voted the songs which competed in this edition, selected by the Eurodanceweb staff after monitoring the European dance scene.

EURODANCEWEB - THE POLL

As it has become a tradition, also in 2008 readers of the Eurodanceweb could vote for their favourite entry. From the beginning of August to the end of December 2008, more than 25.500 people cast their votes online and elected Romania's "Your Love Is High" sung by Mihai Traistariu as their favourite track. Mihai Traistariu is one of the most popular young stars of the Country's music scene and he shot at the international stardom in 2006 with "Tornerò", an entry that competed to that year's Eurovision Song Contest placing 4th in the final chart. Romania won the Online Poll with 43% of the total votes, a very good result achieved thanks to the big promotion done by Mihai during Summer and Fall on leading Romanian media. The singer performed "Your Love Is High" in several important tv shows to and he invited the viewers to vote for him on the Eurodanceweb Poll.

Poland placed second with the single "You Can Dance" written by Dj Remo, one of the most succesful Polish disc jockeys, and performed by Gosia Andrzejewicz, a very well known singer who was selected to represent her Country at this contest also in 2006.

Eiffel 65 fans from all over Italy did a very massive promotion on forums, Messageboards, Youtube and social networks to support the partecipation of Bloom06 at this year's Eurodanceweb Award. As a result of this big effort, "Anche Solo Per Un Attimo" won the third place of the Online Poll with 8% of the total votes cast.
